Be True to Your Word

One of our ancient philosophers said, "If one does not keep his word, others will keep avoiding him." The Chinese people have always held this idea to be one of their standards of morality. When one is as good as his word, he will win confidence of people and make a lot of friends. And as we all know, friendship may give us joy, help, support whenever we need them. And when we enjoy the pleasure of being trusted, respected and loved by others, we will urge ourselves to be ever honest in society, ever helpful to others, and ever ready to do our bit for a better tomorrow of mankind. Since we can gain so much when we are sincere in what we have said and promised, let's be true in word and resolute in deed anytime and anywhere.
